Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, is an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Operations Management, Faculty of Business Administration, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) since January 2010. He has developed a Supply Chain Management model entitled ITESCM (Integrated Tertiary Educational Supply Chain Management) model for Tertiary Educational Institutions at his doctoral degree level. Furthermore, he has a 11-year experience in the field of teaching for graduate and postgraduate students, as well as in training, consultancy and research. He is GSB (Graduate School of Business) Thesis/Dissertation Committee member of Assumption University of Thailand in Ph.D. level and Ph.D. External examiner (Evaluator of Ph.D. Dissertation) of Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) – Deemed University, India. Also, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief/Editor/Editorial Board Member/Reviewer of books/journals/conferences and recently, he joined as Editor-in-Chief in International Journal of Supply Chain Management (IJSCM) published by Exceling Tech Publisher, London, UK. Among the Journals Dr. Habib collaborates to, included are the Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM)-Wiley Blackwell, the Journal of Operations Management (JOM)-Elsevier, Problem and Perspectives in Management (PPM), Scientific Journals International (SJI), and the International Journal of Business Research and Management (IJBRM).
His core research areas are supply chain management, production & operations management, operations research, engineering management, technology management, and educational management. Finally, Dr. Habib is an active member of different professional organizations, including IEEE (Senior Member Grade), IEB, AIMS, INFOMS, just to name a few.
